Who Are You?
Hello! I'm Jeremy Konopka. I made my official stage debut in 4th grade in the role of Michael Darling in Peter Pan. I adored every second. We flew with the help of a strobe light and the agility of our jumping legs to create the high-tech effect. I memorized the whole script and could be caught feeding lines to the John opposite my Michael if they went up. Prior to this, I could be caught in many an auditorium with a musical going on- from high schools to community theaters and beyond. It fed my soul and had me jumping to get up there: and so I did! I went on to play many roles on those very stages and the passion and joy grew and grew.
I graduated from The University of The Arts in Philadelphia, PA where I received my BFA in Musical Theater. I also attended The Cap 21 Conservatory's Pre-College Program. I have worked regionally doing such shows as: Spring Awakening, Legally Blonde, Lend Me A Tenor, Dogfight, We Are Proud To Present... and more! In NYC, I have been a part NYMF developing 2 new musicals, as well as performing at 54 Below, The Broadway Comedy Club, and The Green Room 42. I have developed new musicals in readings and workshops in NYC and Philadelphia. I currently live in Brooklyn, NY with my Husband.
Jeremy produced and starred in The Duds, written and produced by his husband, Sean C. White.
Ever wonder about the interviews that don't make the cut in those hit true crime documentaries?
I play Jared Jacobs, a budding documentarian assigned to interview members of the community garden where the victim, Phyllis Greer's body was found. Jared reports to the infamous and controversial Clementine Phipps, whose problematic behavior had the original documentary pulled from all platforms. The Duds was legally able to be released after such events.
